I have over 25 years HR experience and proud to be a Chartered Fellow of CIPD. My extensive HR experience spans private, public and not for profit sectors; I started my career in recruitment and had an amazing once in a lifetime experience recruiting all types of roles at the millennium dome. I then worked for a charity and moved to a global financial services company for 14 years - where I grew my confidence, commercial awareness and made lifelong friends (you know who you are!). I subsequently joined a group of companies and became fascinated by what makes each one click. The MD there opened my eyes to how people shape organisations and encouraged my curiosity to be brave and set up a HR Consultancy.

I founded Cinnamon HR in 2018 as part of my lifelong ambition to share the practical HR solutions that have helped the organisations I have worked for succeed. I genuinely love putting into practice my first-hand experience gained from a wide variety of organisations across diverse sectors. My clients told me that they like my approach, the fact that I cared and could demystify the HR minefield into everyday language, they trusted me enough to recommend me to others and before I knew it Cinnamon HR was ready to expand.  Fast forward 8 years later, I am super proud of Cinnamon HR’s achievements - our clients, the results we have achieved for them, the partners who we trust to work with and the exceptional Cinnamon HR team and wider team. I’m incredibly grateful for what we’ve built together and excited for our future growth.

My HR experience has been gained through a range of sectors including construction sales, hospitality and airline industry and this is recognised with my Chartered MCIPD status.

I pride myself on being your true HR Generalist and love getting involved in a variety of different HR topics be it recruitment, tricky disciplinary and grievance cases to TUPE to being that extra pair of hands in your HR team.

I have worked extensively with many entrepreneurs, business owners and directors to help them to get the very best from their people and tailor my approach accordingly.

I am always at the end of the phone and have your back so that we can work through the situation together whatever it may be.

I've been working in HR and recruitment for nearly 30 years, supporting organisations and their people across both the private sector and the NHS. Throughout my career, I've loved helping managers navigate the challenges that come with employing people, whether that's finding the right person for the job, resolving workplace issues or supporting organisational growth. I'm commercially aware and solutions-focused, but I also believe that the best HR is built on trust, compassion and a healthy dose of common sense. I pride myself on being approachable, practical and someone who takes the time to understand each organisation, offering advice that's not only compliant but works in the real world.
